AEMRI assists the company in
developing the improved program, including the appropriate
policies, programs, procedures, guidelines, performance
indicators, and tools to ensure excellent performance.
The Program Enhancement will also establish a
hierarchy suitable for future excellent performance.
Procedure program mangers
are trained in the art of procedure program management and
the pitfalls of poor program management.
Procedure Writers
are trained to both recognize the drivers of field errors
that get inadvertently placed in procedures, and the
techniques for replacing these drivers with more effective
steps. The writer
training also contains practical exercises that allow the
writers to work on a procedure that they are currently
responsible for, assess it for the drivers, and correct
these drivers. The
writers are also trained on use of IRAC© as
a procedure review method.
In addition, the writers are taught how to use IRAC© during
the development phase to ensure accountability is
appropriately captured.
Reviewers & approvers
are trained to recognize the most prevalent error drivers,
and the best correction for these drivers.
The reviewers and approvers are also educated in the
role they play in overall procedure quality, how to best
accomplish that role.
Performers
of the procedure are trained in how to “look at” the new
procedures, programs and process, and what “red flags” exist
that will help them in identifying poor or error prone
procedure steps. This
training is typically done in conjunction with the training
on the procedure use and adherence standards.
